Personal driver FAQs
Can I hire someone to drive my own car?
Yes. SoberWheels offers driver services for customers who want their own vehicle driven to an agreed destination. Submit your trip details so we can confirm the arrangement.
Is a personal driver the same as a designated driver?
They can overlap. A designated-driver trip typically gets you and your car home after an evening out. Personal-driver requests can also include planned events, appointments and other trips.
How much does a personal driver cost in Vancouver?
Standard designated-driver trips start at $49, with a $20 pickup fee plus $2.50/km and applicable taxes and fees. Pricing for longer bookings or custom personal-driver arrangements is confirmed individually.
Can I book a driver in advance?
Yes. You can request a future date and time through our quote form. Your trip is booked once availability and details are confirmed.
Do you provide the vehicle?
No. This service is designed for customers who have their own vehicle and need someone to drive it.
